Note Using the AWS Data Pipeline to back up your EFS file systems is a legacy solution.
Important This solution requires using AWS Data Pipeline in the same AWS Region as your file system. Because AWS Data Pipeline is not supported in US East (Ohio), this solution doesn't work in that AWS Region. We recommend that if you want to back up your file system using this solution, you use your file system in one of the other supported AWS Regions.

Important If you're using additional nodes, you can't use spaces in file names and directories stored in the top-level directory. If you do, those files and directories aren't backed up or restored. All files and subdirectories that are at least one level below the top level are backed up and restored as expected.
