## Automatic rotation for database secrets (console)

  For some [Secrets managed by other services](https://github.com/kevinslin/aws-reference-notes/blob/main/services/aws_secrets_manager/service-linked-secrets.md), you use *managed rotation*. To use [Managed rotation](https://github.com/kevinslin/aws-reference-notes/blob/main/services/aws_secrets_manager/rotate-secrets_managed.md), you first create the secret through the managing service.
